I live in the West Midlands, UK and I am a designer in papercrafts. mixed media, fibre and book arts.

I run workshops, give demonstrations and regularly design papercraft projects for "Making Cards", a British magazine. As papercrafting is my job, in my own time I like to pursue different crafts. I especially enjoy bookbinding, both modern and traditional, and textile crafting the eco-friendly way with natural, where possible, organic materials and natural dyes.

I hope to add more information on eco-friendly crafting very soon.

I am currently working on a very exciting project - I am designing a Making Cards Special magazine, due to be published in January 2009. This is a team effort with my youngest son's girlfriend Laura Vernon. She has incredible talent and has recently left university with a First. The magazine is going to feature new interactive cards that you are unlikely to have seen before. If you visited the Hobbycraft Show at the NEC, Birmingham in the last few days and saw my demo on the Crafts Beautiful stand, then "hello" again. I hope you had a great time at the show, left with your head swimming with new ideas and hopefully still had a little money left in your purse! (no chance!)
